Getting my creativity and dreams back!
Long time no see, my loves! It truly has been a long while since I posted. Babes, many many things have happened in the last few years. I got my first big girl job, which was quite the demanding position, and then discovered I was neurodivergent! Turns out – I’m autistic with a sprinkle of ADHD! The last few years have led to many other discoveries about myself, various family members and friends.
I realized I had tried to quiet that voice that wants so much more out of life, that wants to experience and create – art, love, connections. I tried to force myself to live like “normies” and to give up my “unrealistic” big dreams and seeing the struggles with my neurodivergence, be content with what I have achieved so far.
And then came Olandria Carthen, my God! I have never watched an episode of Love Island in my life (and honestly do not plan to do so in the future). However, I was intrigued with her from the second I saw her in a video on TikTok, and of course I was hooked! #nicolandrianation
She is so fascinating to me and not just because of her looks. However, in my humble opinion – she is as close to perfection as you can humanely get.
Watching her come out of that (hateful and jealous ahh) villa, strategizing and building her team, all while being inundated with vitriol, I was in awe. The run she has had and will continue to have is so amazing to watch! The grace with which she handles all the attention, the good and the bad, is nothing short of admirable.

Olandria has inspired me to return to my dreams, to believe in myself and the image I have for my future life. I lost sight of it for a while because I let other people’s opinions and voices be louder than mine. But I can’t fully blame it on that. Another huge factor was having to process my late discovered neurodivergence and feeling like all the things I have always wanted in life were out of reach as I had much more limits than the average person.
Screw that though!
What I want is to create a beautiful space and community, especially for my neurospicy babes! What I want is to model and get paid wearing pretty clothes. What I want is to travel. What I want is to be free to create and to live how I want to. What I want is so much more!
I’m done shrinking myself to fit into boxes I was never meant for. This is me choosing my dreams loudly, unapologetically, imperfectly.
I’m finally listening to my voice again. And this time, I’m not quieting it.
Well, I ought to get started, right?
So here I am again. Creating. Dreaming. Choosing myself. This space will be chaotic, magical, honest, alive and free – just like me.
If you’ve ever felt too much, too different, too dreamy for this world: you’re not alone. Welcome home.
I hope you follow me on this journey. <3
Iconic Law Roach announced his retirement days ago and the fashion industry is crying, throwing up and sliding down the wall with a bottle of wine as a result. As if they’re not the reason he did what he did.
I’m not going to lie, I didn’t know who Law Roach was when I first heard of his retirement announcement. Well, more exactly I knew all the iconic outfits he’d created for various celebrities, but I did not realize that Law Roach was THE stylist and the brain behind some of the most iconic looks on red carpets.
Of course, I had to do a deep dive into this fascinating fashion genius. So, if you’re still a little confused who Law is and what that buzz around him is about, look no further than this post.
Law Roach is one of the best known, liked, and respected celebrity stylists in the industry. He coined the term “image architect” and seeing his creations makes you understand why he’s not just a “stylist”. He has the ability to transform celebrities from ‘cute, but meh’ into fashion icons and household names in the industry. Megan Thee Stallion, Ariana Grande, Anya Taylor Joy and, his probably most well-known client, Zendaya are just some of the people he has worked with.
Let me be honest, if there was a look on the red carpet that was absolutely stunning and breathtaking, it was Law that had probably styled it. He’s also been a judge for America’s Next Topmodel and the show Legendary. Additionally, he was the first black stylist to be featured on the cover of Hollywood Reporter’s “most powerful stylists” issue.
Now unfortunately, there has also been a lot of struggles Law has faced behind the scenes for years on end, reaching from overt nepotism to racism in the industry. This year it seemed to have reached the tip of the iceberg and he said “no more”!Many have been speculating that that “tip” was him being snubbed at the LV fashion show, where he did not have a seat in first row sitting next to his protegee, like always. Seeing that Zendaya is said to be LV’s new ambassador, it’s definitely weird. Now couple that with the fact that when Anya Taylor-Joy was the ambassador for Dior Law was pretty much ostracized from her styling team, another snub from a LVMH company has a bitter taste to it. And this is just the stuff we can see, who knows how bad it was further behind the scenes.BUT thankfully, Law Roach is not leaving is completely in the dust. He is retiring 100% yes, but that’s just for celebrity styling. He’ll stay in fashion as, he says, he’s finally ”free”. I cannot begrudge him for his decision, hell, discovering his decision gave me a bit of cold feet seeing as I want to get back into fashion and styling, welp. Nonetheless, Law has made a household name for himself and can be incredibly and absolutely proud of himself.I am very curious as to what adventures he’ll be getting into next and can’t wait to see what fabulousness he brings us next. He has been doing a number of interviews recently and it’s quite entertaining listening to him. Also (and this part is really just for the universe), I’d REALLY like to meet him one day. He seems to be very kind and totally hilarious. I hope that, just like me, you’re caught up babes. Enjoy some of his styles I love the most in the following.See you soon. Until the next post.xx Ama
Do You Want To Join Me In My Fairytale?
This photo series is a beautiful expression of a daydreamer like me that’s often lost in her fairytale world. After a bit of hick ups, I was finally able to finish editing all of the photos. I’m beyond happy to share them with you today. The photos of this shoot are no doubt my most favorite yet.
Looking back it’s actually quite surprising I shot in this stunning dress for the first time! This gown is years old already as well but still looks like it’s fresh out of the H&M package.
As you can read from all my gushing, I’m not only obsessed with this beautiful dress but these photos in general. And because I love them so much, you can find the second part of this series, with lots of different shots, on my instagram page.
I really hope you enjoy this fairytale-ish series as much as I do.
Have a lovely new week my loves!
